For our wood products

To clean, simply use a soft cloth moistened in lukewarm soap and water then buff with a dry, clean cloth.

  • NEVER use glass cleaners on finished furniture, ammonia will chemically attack the lacquer.
  • NEVER allow liquids of any kind to remain in decorative route lines; absorption causes wood to warp and finishes to de-laminate.
  • Prevent marking by not writing directly on the surface.
  • Prevent fading by not placing the item in direct sunlight.
  • Prevent discoloring by using cloth placemats rather than rubber-based ones.
  • Prevent yellowing by not using commercial waxes and polishes.
  • Prevent damage to the finish by not placing hot metals, such as pots or kettles, on the surface.
  • Prevent splitting by maintain even humidity conditions in your home.

For our natural stone products:

Generally, the best care for natural stone is to keep it clean and buffed. Especially around faucets, wiping off the water will prevent a mineral buildup (a whitish, dull residue on the stone).

  • For cleaning marble, always use a pH neutral cleaner. Any acid cleaner will damage the stone.
  • Acid does not harm granite, but oil will soak in, leaving a darker area. Wipe up oils, spills, and splatters immediately, using a mild household cleaner. Rinse and buff dry.
  • We recommend using a resin-based penetrating sealer to reseal the stone. All natural stone is porous and needs to be sealed periodically to prevent staining liquids from penetrating. Sprinkle a few drops of water on the surface, if they bead up then the sealer is adequate. If they quickly soak in, it is time to reseal the stone.

For our quartz products:

  • For regular cleaning, wipe down the countertop with a damp cloth or paper towel and, if necessary, a small amount of non-bleach, non-abrasive cleanser. Avoid waxes, bleaches, oils, nail polish remover and high pH cleaners. In the event of a spill wipe up a soon as possible.
  • To avoid heat damage, do not place hot materials directly on the countertop.
