Lift Chair Warranty and Warranty Service

Mega Motion and Windermere power recline/lift chairs carry a limited lifetime warranty on metal frames and lift mechanisms. The motors and electronics carry a one year warranty. All warranty is from the date of purchase. The fabric is covered for one year, except for Crypton covers which carry a two-year warranty. Any and all warranty obligations are subject to proper care and maintenance of the chairs by the customer. Abuse is not covered.

Mega Motion and Windermere power mobility scooters carry a 90-day warranty. Any and all warranty obligations are subject to the proper care and maintenance of the scooter by the customer. Abuse is not covered.

Warranty Service

All warranty service is handled by Mega Motion and Windermere. The retail purchaser will need to contact Mega Motion/Windermere, not the location where the product was purchased.

All warranty work or repair requests, need to be sent to Mega Motion/Windermere Technical Service Department- 1-800-634-2508.

Please have the following information available:

  1. Date of purchase (warranty begins on this date)
  2. Serial Number and Model Number (found in owner’s manual)
  3. Customer Contact information (name, address and phone number)

Mega Motion/Windermere will contact a service technician.

  1. Technician will schedule a diagnostic or repair appointment with customer
  2. Parts will be ordered and sent to technician
  3. Technician will schedule a visit to complete warranty work

Out of Warranty Work

All out of warranty work, or repair requests, need to be sent to the Mega Motion/Windermere Technical Service Department- 1-800-634-2508.

Please have the following information available:

  1. Date of purchase (warranty begins on this date)
  2. Serial Number and Model Number (found in owner’s manual)
  3. Customer Contact information (name, address and phone number)

Customer will be provided a name of a service technician in the area.

  1. A technician will schedule a diagnostic or repair appointment with the customer. All expenses will be paid by the customer. The customer should inquire with the technician about the labor cost.
  2. Parts can be purchased from Mega Motion/Windermere. (Customer is required to pay for these in advance of being sent to technician).

Service Technicians Not Mega Motion/Windermere Employees

Service technicians who provide warranty and non-warranty work are contracted by Mega Motion/Windermere to provide repair services. They are independent contractors.
